| Reviews are an important part
of any business winning activity. Companies that undertake a
systematic and structured review process typically find that they
have a better quality bid submissions and an increased win rate. |

| The number and type of reviews can be tailored to suit your needs
and the nature of the requirement. Not all bids require all
of the following reviews which would depend on the nature, size, and
complexity of the requirement. |

| Black Hat Review
|
|
| A Black Hat review is a review of your products, services and
capabilities from a customer’s perspective. |

| Strategy Review
|
|
| Ensures that the bid strategy is aligned with your business
objectives and capabilities as well of those of the customer and
the marketplace. |

| Proposal Reviews |

| Storyboard Review |
|
| MWC recommends that the
proposal sections are first storyboarded. This is to ensure that the proposal is responsive to the
requirement and that the objectives of the bid are being met. |

| Pink Team Review |
|
| This is a review of the first draft of the proposal and is
employed to ensure that the proposal content is developing as
planned in terms of quality and quantity. |

| Red Team Review
|
|
| This is a formal review of the second draft of the proposal, and
the most important review of the proposal submission. MWC
recommends this review as a minimum. |

| Lessons Learnt
|
|
| Few bid submissions are perfect, whilst proposals which do not
quite go to plan often have aspects that
worked well. |
|
| Effectively capturing lessons learnt is a vital part of any
procurement exercise. Lessons learnt are equally important whether
a bid is successful or not. An experienced external facilitator
enables the bid team to capture all aspects of the submission,
including factors which could otherwise be ignored. |
